nDepth Security is currently seeking a Computer Scientist to support one of our projects in the Maryland area. The candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, testing, and documenting software code. Planning, analyzing, programing and implementing coding practices.
• Developing software drivers
• Developing software applications
• Processing digital signals
• Developing Client/server applications
• Analyzing and implementing Legacy and current processor technology
• Analyzing and implementing Operating systems, architectures, and interfaces
• Developing code using Assembly and high-level programming languages
• Reverse engineering software/code
• Developing embedded software
• Communicating status of work
• Peer reviewing software

Required Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of experience in software and firmware design, development, and test to include writing clear, concise, functioning and fully commented code, and a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise (e.g., Engineering, Physical Science, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering) from an accredited college or university.
• A Master’s degree in a relevant field of expertise may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
• Four (4) years of additional experience in software and firmware design, development, and test may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
